SNS JU R&I work program 2026 published

The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) has published its biennial work program for 2026-2027, including the Research and Innovation Work Program 2026 (R&I WP26).

For 2026, €22 million in EU funding will be awarded to five selected projects to advance key areas such as 6G devices, AI integration and test infrastructures. The 2026 activities will serve as a transition between previous programs and the larger 2027 work program, which will provide a total of around €240 million in grants.

R&I WP26 builds on previous achievements and focuses on consolidating successes, building future industrial capacities and strengthening Europe's global position through partnerships and standards - including international cooperation with India. Based on this program, the sixth call for project proposals will be launched.
