Service compass awarded & presented in the podcast

Our partner in the Enterprise Europe Network, BIHK Service GmbH, has received an award from the European Labor Authority (ELA) for the Dienstleistungskompass.eu as part of the "Call for Good Practices 2024". The award confirms the high quality, user-friendliness and practical relevance of the portal, which supports companies in Bavaria and throughout Europe in cross-border services and provides guidance in complex procedures.

The Service Compass is aimed in particular at craft businesses and industrial companies that provide services in other EU countries on a regular basis or for the first time. Since its development in 2017 by BIHK Service GmbH - in cooperation with experts from the Bavarian chambers of industry and commerce, including Bayern Handwerk International and HWK München für Oberbayern - the portal has established itself as a central source of information. Today, it bundles legal requirements, procedures and responsibilities for 20 European countries free of charge and offers companies a reliable basis for preparing cross-border assignments.

To coincide with the award, a new podcast now presents the portal and its possible applications:

In the podcast, Doris Göbl (EEN Partner Bayern Handwerk International) explains how companies can prepare for assignments abroad and the key role played by the Service Compass. The podcast takes a practical look at the legal obligations, reporting procedures and organizational requirements that companies must observe and how early information contributes to legal certainty and smooth processes.
