Scale-up E-Drive
In November 2020, the German government decided to set up a "Future Fund for the Automotive Industry" to support the medium and long-term challenges facing the automotive industry in the transformation process. A central component is the establishment of so-called transformation hubs for the automotive industry, which are active throughout Germany and cover various key topics. The funding measures are set to run until June 2025. Bayern Innovativ is involved in three transformation hubs as a partner.

Description:
The aim of the "Scale-up E-Drive" project is to support small and medium-sized enterprises in their transformation processes in the electric vehicle powertrain. To this end, the hub will prepare current trends and industry information, provide pre-competitive and specialist content, identify innovative areas of opportunity in relation to the electric powertrain and initiate new collaborations through targeted networking.
The project partners in Stuttgart, Munich and Aachen will ensure a high level of coverage of German automotive regions in the hub. "Showcases" will be set up there to demonstrate expertise, processes and products in the electric drivetrain, provide training and ensure an innovative exchange between the relevant players. At the same time, "Scale-Up E-Drive" is setting up a mobile showcase. This will enable the active involvement of other regions in Germany.
