The term metaverse usually triggers associations primarily with virtual (gaming) worlds. Last year, however, the announcement by Siemens and Nvidia of a partnership to create an "industrial metaverse" (source: Siemens and Nvidia are working on the industrial metaverse vogel.de ) also received a lot of industry attention.
