The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection has published the new guideline for the funding program "go-digital". Hereby, incentives for digitization projects and individually tailored solutions for medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are to be created.
The overall objectives of the funding program "go-digital" are:
Strengthening the competitiveness of the beneficiary companies by increasing their productivity,
Increasing their degree of digitization and
Maintaining existing and, if necessary, creating new jobs in the beneficiary companies.
Funded are the expert advice and the accompaniment of the beneficiary company by authorized consulting firms in the implementation of necessary measures in one of the following 5 modules according to the state of the art.
Module 1: Creation of new and improvement of existing digitization strategies.
Module 2: Improvement of the level of IT protection.
Module 3: Increasing the share of digital business processes.
Module 4: Increasing data literacy.
Module 5: Improving digital presentation quality and reach.
Consulting services for legally independent companies in the commercial sector, including the skilled trades in Germany, are funded. Funding is available to companies that have fewer than 100 employees at the time the contract is concluded and have annual sales or an annual balance sheet total of no more than 20 million euros in the year prior to the conclusion of the contract.
The funding guideline is limited until June 30, 2024.
