C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V. announces the 32nd Symposium and the awarding of two major prizes

C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V., the Bavarian Coordination Office for Renewable Resources, Renewable Energies and Sustainable Resource Use, is organizing the 32nd symposium with the theme "Sustainable into the renewable future: Efficient use of land and raw materials".

The event will take place on 1 and 2 July 2024 in Straubing and will feature specialist presentations on current topics such as wind energy, renewable heat and carbon-based industry. The symposium will also mark the presentation of two prestigious awards:

Förderpreis Nachwachsende Rohstoffe: Every year, the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy award this prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros. The application deadline is April 30, 2024.

Ernst-Pelz-Preis: The Ernst-Pelz-Stiftung, together with C.A.R.M.E.N. e.V., also awards an annual prize endowed with 10,000 euros for outstanding services to the promotion of renewable raw materials.
