The Industrie 4.0 platform funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) has published an anthology "Pitchday Datenraum Industrie 4.0". The publication provides an overview of a total of 27 currently ongoing activities on the Data Space Industry 4.0.
The realization of an Industrie 4.0 data room is intended to enable industrial companies to share data securely and sovereignly across the entire value chain in a decentrally organized data ecosystem. With the Manufacturing-X initiative, this data space is to be implemented in industry across all sectors.
In this context, Plattform Industrie 4.0 organized a pitch day in September 2022 together with Gaia-X Hub Germany, at which companies, consortia and initiatives had the opportunity to present their Industrie 4.0 data space activities. 27 of these activities were subsequently compiled in an anthology, which has now been published.
From the industry's point of view, the anthology offers a broad overview of currently ongoing activities on the Industrie 4.0 data space in the areas of data models, concepts and standards, legal framework and operator models, as well as use cases, implementation projects and scaling approaches. The anthology can thus also serve as an impetus and starting point for future activities in the context of the Manufacturing-X initiative.
