The European Union is driving forward the development of a competitive battery value chain in a targeted manner.
New EU calls for proposals for the years 2026 and 2027 open up opportunities at an early stage, especially for cross-border consortia from science and industry. Against this background, the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) and its partners invite you to the Bavarian-Czech Networking Event: EU Calls 2026/2027 on Green Materials and Production for Batteries.
The event will take place on February 26, 2026 from 13:00 to approx. 17:30 at the Technology Centre Prague (CZ NCP) in Prague. The conference language is English. The event is organized by BayFOR in cooperation with the National Contact Point DIT Jülich and the National Contact Point at the Technology Centre Prague, supported by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
The aim of the event is to provide early information on relevant battery-related EU funding calls 2026/2027 and at the same time offer a structured platform for networking and consortium building. Experts from the National Contact Points will present selected calls from various EU programs. The program is complemented by best practice examples, information on support services and moderated matchmaking.
A central element of the program is the pitch talks, where participants can briefly present their project ideas and search for project partners. BayFOR actively supports participants in networking and initiating viable European consortia.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. The number of participants is limited, registration deadline is February 11, 2026.
