Companies and researchers that go beyond legal standards and visibly improve product safety can apply for the EU Product Safety Award 2025 until August 31, 2025. With this award, the European Commission recognizes initiatives that make a significant contribution to consumer safety - whether through innovative product solutions, safe distribution channels or targeted awareness campaigns.
Winning the EU Product Safety Award offers you broad recognition and a significant boost to your reputation. All winners receive a certificate and a trophy at a prestigious awards ceremony in Brussels.
- For companies: As an award-winning company, you may use the European Product Safety Award logo for your award-winning initiative or product. There are separate categories for SMEs and large companies.
- For researchers: If your research is awarded, you will be given the opportunity to present your work at the award ceremony and the upcoming International Product Safety Week 2026.
Who can participate?
All companies based in the European Economic Area (EU + Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway) that submit an above-average safety initiative in compliance with CSR principles. Your initiative must go beyond the legal requirements and aim to increase consumer safety. It is also important that your company acts in accordance with internationally recognized corporate social responsibility (CSR) criteria.
