How can sustainability, digitalization and value creation in the construction industry be rethought together? This key question shaped the Learning Development Workshop that we held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, as part of the EU Interreg project DECORATOR.
Together with students and our project partner, Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences, we analyzed local business models in the construction sector, discussed current trends along the value chain and developed innovative approaches for sustainable solutions.
The focus was on the question of how new technologies, circular value creation and creative business models can be combined to make the construction industry fit for the future.
The DECORATOR project, funded by Interreg Danube, brings together stakeholders from the entire Danube region to promote cross-border innovation in the construction and timber construction industry.
