Funding navigator

The new funding navigator helps Bavarian cultural institutions to find and apply for suitable federal funding for their climate protection projects.

From 2026, state and non-state cultural institutions in Bavaria will have access to a funding navigator for climate protection projects in cultural institutions. With this new service, the Creative Industries Innovation Network of Bayern Innovativ GmbH systematically supports cultural institutions in obtaining federal funding for the implementation of climate protection measures. To this end, needs and projects are identified - for example through queries or targeted approaches - and suitable funding programs are identified. The cultural institutions are supported from the selection of suitable funding programs, through the application process to the receipt of the funding decision.

Some funding programs for the implementation of consulting, energy efficiency and climate protection measures are due to expire soon. For example, the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Directive is unlikely to be extended beyond 31.12.2026. We therefore recommend that you check promptly which funding options are available for your building. We will be happy to support you with your research and, if you wish, assist you with the application process. The free offer within the framework of the funding navigator is available until November 2026.
