Business models and pioneering solutions for the better use of data and artificial intelligence (AI)

The call runs until February 11, 2025.

20.11.2024

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK ) supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in implementing promising innovations as part of the Innovation Program for Business Models and Pioneering Solutions (IGP ). Creative business concepts, organizational models of social start-ups and new platform formats have a chance of receiving funding.

The next call is aimed at business models and pioneering solutions for the better use of data and artificial intelligence (AI). These include new approaches to the use of data from science, business, administration and culture, innovative concepts for data sharing and pooling, the creation of responsible data and AI ecosystems, new AI applications (for example for "AI for good"), specialist and training offers on AI and data use as well as forward-looking solutions for challenges in the AI context and for better use of data.

New technologies can play a role in the innovation projects supported by the IGP, but they do not necessarily have to. The decisive factor is rather the novelty of the problem solution. SMEs (including start-ups, the self-employed and social enterprises) and research institutions cooperating with SMEs (including universities) are eligible to apply.

Duration of the call

The deadline for submitting applications is February 11, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
