Amendment of the de minimis regulation

10.07.2024

On July 1, 2024, an amended version of the de minimis regulation came into force. Companies can now receive up to 300,000 euros in state aid within three years instead of the previous 200,000 euros.

The Free State of Bavaria grants subsidies for projects by promoters from the cultural and creative industries (CCIs). The State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi) has issued guidelines for the promotion of the cultural and creative industries. The aim of the funding guidelines is to support new impulses and measures to promote and increase the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries. The guidelines are aimed at promoters who are committed to the industry or individual sub-markets and develop commercially oriented formats and projects in line with the motto "from the industry for the industry". Bayernkreativ was commissioned to advise on the StMWi's funding guidelines for the KKW and to pre-examine applications.

The current regulation allows a grant on condition that you have not received more than EUR 300,000 in total funding under the de minimis regulation over a period of three years (previously the maximum limit was EUR 200,000 in three years).
