Funding program for the purchase of zero-emission and clean hydrogen-powered vehicles in Bavaria
The use of light and heavy zero-emission and clean commercial vehicles with hydrogen drives in road traffic is necessary in order to achieve the ambitious climate protection targets in the transport sector. At the same time, these vehicles are currently significantly more expensive than corresponding diesel and battery electric vehicles. The program aims to reduce the additional costs of purchasing hydrogen-powered vehicles and to supplement the existing programs for the development of electrolyser and hydrogen filling station infrastructure so that regional value chains are addressed.
Funding is provided for additional investment costs for the purchase of hydrogen-based commercial vehicles (N1, N2 and N3) in Bavaria.
