Summary
The safeguarding of information systems and the protection of privacy with technical mechanisms are the working areas of the Chair of Privacy and Security in Information Systems at the Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg. For this purpose, existing systems are analyzed and evaluated, and mechanisms for implementing security, transparency, and control over personal data are developed.
