DELO is an established partner in the semiconductor market for advanced packaging solutions. We exclusively develop PFAS-free adhesives and functional materials that improve package performance and longevity. Our services include simulation-based development, performance testing on our own test vehicles, on-site support as well as customized UV lamps and dispensing concepts.

Technology/Research

DELO's broad range of base chemistries enables customized solutions for a wide variety of requirements - whether heat-curing, light-curing or in combination. Our adhesives are particularly suitable for automotive image sensor packaging, both for filter glass attach and wire encapsulation. We also develop high-tech materials for CPU/GPU packages based on FC BGA packaging platforms. DELO also has in-depth expertise in optical materials and wafer-level processing and develops adhesives for optical communications. Through the innovative pre-activation technology "Activation on the Flow", the CO2 footprint during curing can be significantly reduced. With state-of-the-art laboratories covering almost the entire customer process from manufacturing to longevity testing, DELO supports its customers from its headquarters in Windach as well as from locations in Shanghai, Singapore and Boston.

DELO's focus is on the development of customized adhesive solutions for individual customer needs. The development of adhesives and processes based on the requirements of the product or production environment is the core of our work. In cooperation with our customers, we provide results from preliminary tests and thus pave the way for rapid integration into the subsequent production environment. We also work closely with partners (e.g. system manufacturers) to develop innovative system solutions.
