Schlegel Simulation GmbH specializes in system simulation in mechatronics. A particular focus is object-oriented modeling, which offers many advantages in terms of modularity, reusability and maintainability of simulation models.

System simulation in mechatronics

The simulation of dynamic processes and the interaction of the various building blocks (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, software, etc.) is an important tool in the design, development and testing of mechatronic products. Especially in the early stages of a development, potential problems can be identified, investigated and efficiently solved. New functional principles can be tested quickly and different concepts can be compared easily. Finally, a system model provides valuable services in coordination with the customer, virtual commissioning and also operator training.

The offer includes the development of simulation models and project-specific model libraries, model-based systems - engineering, hardware-in-the-loop simulation and model-based testing, the development of customer-specific simulation software, as well as consulting, coaching and training.

We handle projects of all sizes, from adapting an existing simulation model to the format of measured data to a 5-year research project to develop redundant electromechanical actuators for primary flight control of helicopters.
