As a specialist for high-quality automation components, handling and feeding solutions as well as services, Afag, as an independent family-owned company of the Schaeff Group, has been at home in industrial automation for over 60 years now.

Our goal is to meet the high demands of the global automation industry with state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions and to actively contribute to the success of our customers. These can be found, for example, in the automotive industry, medical and packaging technology, but also in the electrical or consumer goods industry. The Afag subsidiaries are located in Huttwil in Switzerland, in Hardt in the Black Forest, in Nashville USA and in Amberg in the Upper Palatinate. The focus at the Amberg site has been on feeding technology for over 25 years. Based on the innovative Afag vibratory feeder and CAD/CAM technology, customer-specific and customized feeding solutions are developed and produced to meet the highest quality requirements.

In addition, Afag also deals with the challenges of flexible vision and actuator-based feeding technology and, in addition to mastered 5-axis simultaneous milling, is already successfully using additive manufacturing processes.
