Solukon's automated powder removal systems, with their Smart Powder Recuperation (SPR®) technology, provide the solution for safe and reliable powder handling, even in the area of reactive materials such as titanium or aluminum. The highly efficient and reproducible cleaning process provides the user with a powerful tool to achieve economical series production and certification of production processes. The Solukon systems clean components produced in the powder-based laser melting process in a closed cabin. The components are moved around two axes in space and simultaneously subjected to adjustable vibration. The programmable movement in space and the excitation loosens loose powder that has not fused with the component and completely removes it from the component and any support structures. Depending on the material, the cleaning process is performed in an inert atmosphere.
