The network is a platform for defining and implementing measures that serve the advancement of mechatronics and related fields. The cluster combines know-how from the fields of mechanics, electronics and computer science. The cluster management offers industry and science a platform for active cooperation within its business areas of communication, cooperation and qualification, thus initiating innovations. Its business areas include consulting services, research and transfer activities as well as offers to qualify and secure qualified personnel. The Mechatronics & Automation Cluster brings together over 200 players from all sectors interested in the development of mechatronics and its applications. It promotes professional exchange and forms regional value chains. AM@Industry is the strategic innovation team for establishing industrial additive manufacturing in SMEs.
