Since 2021, Dr. Michael Schackert has been responsible for the operational processes and day-to-day business of digitalization expert XITASO as Managing Director and COO. Before joining the XITASO team as a software developer in 2014, Dr. Schackert, who holds a doctorate in physics, worked on superconducting nanostructures at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He worked as a product owner at XITASO for many years and has been responsible for the overall coordination of project teams and customer projects as Head of Delivery since 2018. His mission is to create the framework conditions for self-organization and personal responsibility in such a way that all XITASOnians can develop their passion for digitalization in the best possible way.
