Mechanical engineer Marco Linhardt has been working at KSB in Pegnitz, Upper Franconia, since 2009. Today, he is responsible for production through additive manufacturing. Together with specialists from the materials laboratory, production engineering, foundry, and design departments, he develops processes to improve existing products, create innovative components, or reproduce discontinued spare parts using additive manufacturing. With the experience gained, KSB’s interdisciplinary team has now also become a sought-after service provider for all topics related to research and design, production processes, and quality assurance.
