Dr. Gerald Hagemann started his career in 1991 at DLR Lampoldshausen, focusing on liquid rocket propulsion. After holding various research and leadership positions, he became Head of the Business Unit “Propulsion” at Airbus Defence & Space in 2015 and contributed significantly to the foundation of Airbus Safran Launchers (now ArianeGroup). Today, he serves as “Head of Liquid Propulsion Engineering,” leading an international team of around 380 engineers in Germany and France.
