Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences - Research Focus Plastics Processing 

The F&E Plastics Engineering - TH Rosenheim, under the direction of Prof. Karlinger and Prof. Schemme, is engaged in the following main research areas:

• thermoplastic fiber composite plastics incl. Recycling
• Wood fiber composites
• Process technology/optics and energy efficiency
• Clean room technology
• Duromer technology
• Foaming

Due to the close cooperation with the Faculty of Wood Technology, new types of wood fiber reinforced plastics and ecological hybrid composites are currently being developed.

The R&D Plastics Engineering - TH Rosenheim, under the direction of Prof. Karlinger and Prof. Schemme, deals with the following main research areas:

• Thermoplastic composites incl. recycling
• Wood fiber composites
• Process technology/- optimization and Energy efficiency
• Clean room technology
• Thermoset technology
• Foaming

Due to the close cooperation with the faculty of Wood Technology, novel wood fiber reinforced plastics and ecological hybrid composites are currently being developed.
