The University Development Project Group of VDI-BV Bayern Nordost e.V. and VDE Bayern aims to use targeted research and surveys to record the expectations of (regional) companies with regard to universities and to make recommendations to universities for courses of study, qualification / further training measures and research areas.

In an initial pilot project, the qualification requirements for engineers in the field of (intra-) logistics were analyzed and desirable research topics were identified. Over 20 companies participated in this activity.

The project group is currently working in the field of artificial intelligence, particularly in the following areas of application:
AI in plant automation, AI in manufacturing processes
AI in industrial robots, AI in intralogistics, AI in energy supply.

We are looking for people with experience from companies who can provide additional information on qualification requirements and possible research topics.
