OMEI (Open Mobility Electric Infrastructure) - a data-based research project for a holistic approach to building a sustainable electric charging infrastructure. With a team of strong players in the energy sector, the project has set itself the goal of supporting the development of a modern, clean and efficient electric charging infrastructure, including the use of artificial intelligence. Under the leadership of Landshut University of Applied Sciences and the Energy Technology Center, the OMEI project is establishing a comprehensive, freely accessible data basis and developing an e-charging concept with a sustainable storage system and the use of regional, renewable energy. Other partners in the project consortium are the University of Passau with the FORWISS and DIMIS institutes, the Ilzer Land region as well as Fenecon, Technagon, MER and EVG Perlesreut.
