The German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ) makes it easier for companies and institutions to find competent language experts: The association's online database, which can be used free of charge, lists 7,500 professional translators and interpreters for 80 languages and numerous specialist fields - including around 1,500 professionals for more than 40 languages in the Bavarian regional association alone, many of whom specialize in the medical sector.

Membership of the BDÜ is a seal of quality for specialist knowledge and professional translating and interpreting: Admission to the association is only possible with professional qualification.

The BDÜ is the largest German professional association in the industry and represents about 80 percent of all organized interpreters and translators in Germany. Since 1955, the association has championed the interests of its members and the profession and supported clients in their search for qualified translators and interpreters.
