Discover new perspectives on materials, space and design! Together with expert Astrid Köppel, we are developing visionary concepts for the historic sawmill on the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences campus. On November 27, 2025, we invite students, designers, architects and all creative minds to rethink materials and design sustainable, inclusive and aesthetically pleasing spatial concepts.

To the application

How can materials be rethought to create future-oriented meanings, applications and products? In our workshop, we will explore new perspectives on materiality, space and design together with expert Astrid Köppel. Together we will develop visionary concepts for the sawmill on the campus of Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences - a building that was planned and realized by students for students in the 1970s and is still in use today.

In the spirit of the New European Bauhaus, we ask:
How must spaces be designed to be sustainable, inclusive and aesthetically compelling? We want to develop new ideas together, rethink materials and design concrete concepts for the use and life in the sawmill.

Target group:
The workshop is aimed at students, teachers, designers, architects, craftspeople and material experts as well as anyone interested in sustainable spatial and material design. Creative minds who are keen to adopt new perspectives, think across disciplines and shape the future together are welcome.

The event is free of charge. We look forward to your registration!
