In July 2025, we welcome Stefan Keller and Matthias Hermann from Citrine Informatics Inc., a technology company specializing in materials informatics with a focus on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in materials and product development, to our Innovation Coffee.

Citrine Informatics provides a software-as-a-service platform that combines generative AI methods with material science approaches to provide data-based support for developments in research and industry. The aim is to make innovation processes more efficient and enable well-founded decisions in material and product development.

The webinar will focus on an introduction to materials informatics and the use of AI-supported processes in the field of product and process development. The speakers will show how AI models can be created and adapted with little effort, explain the underlying workflow and illustrate how this approach can offer advantages over classical statistical methods or purely experimental approaches.

In addition, Stefan Keller and Matthias Hermann use selected application examples to provide insights into how companies use the Citrine platform to achieve specific development goals.
