AI in the public sector - trends, opportunities and regulation

"Successful and legally compliant use of AI in the public sector"

Artificial intelligence (AI) is now regarded as one of the biggest transformation topics - and has long since arrived in the public sector discussion.

The potential of AI for administrations and public companies is obvious - AI can generate enormous added value in times of a shortage of skilled workers, criticism of bureaucracy and an increasingly critical ability to perform public tasks. At the same time, the risks of AI with regard to the danger of manipulation or the threat of encroachment on fundamental rights and data protection are also considerable - not least for this reason, the European Union has created the first supranational set of rules to regulate AI with the AI Regulation.

The Smart Cities & Regions platform of Bayern Innovativ is organizing this event together with the EDIH and the PwC office in Munich.

In addition to introductory impulses on the topic of AI in the public sector, possible fields of application of AI will be presented and discussed with you in a practical way. You will gain in-depth insights into the legal framework and the risks of AI as well as their protection.

Participation is free of charge.
