One of the guests was Dr. Julian Schallow (IPS Engineers GmbH), who was online from Dortmund. He outlined the need for dynamic value stream management to address today's problems in production. In addition, Maximilian Zerreis (Robert Bosch GmbH) showed how the concept "Speedweek 4.0" can work out an increased value stream performance within one week. Leonhard Feiner from the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Augsburg gave an overview of various identification and localization technologies and their application in the material flow process. Tino Bombach and Tobias Horneber (evosoft GmbH) analyzed how digital value stream and material flow analysis can be used to obtain direct feedback on status and trends on the store floor. Using a practical example, Jiří Hanžl (AIMTEC) showed why smart automation is important and useful in intralogistics. In another presentation, Tobias Horneber (evosoft GmbH) used an example of setup time optimization to demonstrate how flexible optimization frameworks can have a positive impact on material flow. Lastly, Prof. Peter Schuderer (TH Ingolstadt) and Eva Russwurm (FAPS) presented a project that can be implemented cost-effectively and quickly through interdisciplinary teams of students, optimization projects.
The subsequent innovation pitch presented two software projects and was followed by a discussion about the innovation ideas.
The highlight of the cluster forum was the guided tour through the Industrie 4.0 test facility of evosoft. The event was rounded off with drinks and canapés and a get-together.
