2nd German-Chilean call for joint research and development projects of small and medium-sized enterprises - CORFO-BMWK

Corfo and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, BMWK, intend to support joint German-Chilean research and development projects (R&D projects) for the development of innovative products, processes or technical services from all areas of technology and application. Funding is available for R&D projects in which new products, services or processes with high market potential are developed and subsequently transformed into marketable products. In Germany, funding is provided as part of the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM). The Chilean project partners are supported by the Chilean agency Innova Chile of Corfo in the "Crea y Valida - ZIM" program. Innova Chile and AiF Projekt GmbH (project management agency of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection) support the project partners in the project proposal submission phase, the evaluation phase and the implementation phase.

The call invites partners to submit joint proposals for technological R&D projects by July 31, 2024 in accordance with the requirements and procedures of the respective national funding programs ("Crea y Valida - ZIM"/Chile) and (ZIM/Germany).

Eligible project participants from Chile and Germany will finance their costs from the aforementioned national funding programs ("Crea y Valida - ZIM" for Chilean applicants and "ZIM" for German applicants) and additionally with their own funds.
