VK Energie reorganizes management
Co-founder Philipp Schaltenberg hands over responsibility and provides strategic support for the company in future

Cluster energy technology partner VK Energie GmbH is making a change to its management team. Co-founder and Managing Director Philipp Schaltenberg has ended his operational activities as of December 31, 2025.
He will remain associated with the company as a shareholder and strategic advisor.
Together with Dr. Johannes Jungwirth, Schaltenberg has played a key role in the establishment and development of VK Energie GmbH since it was founded in 2017. During this time, the company has developed into a leading provider for the optimization of complex energy systems in Germany.
The handover was prepared for the long term. In future, Dr. Johannes Jungwirth will lead VK Energie GmbH as sole Managing Director. He will continue to be supported by the existing management team: Dr. Dennis Atabay (Head of Development & Authorized Representative), Dr. Patrick Wimmer (Head of Sales) and Michael Jedinger (Head of Operations & Finance). There will be no changes to the collaboration for customers and business partners.
"It has been a great pleasure and honor for me to build VK Energie together with a great team. I look forward to actively supporting the strategic development of the company in my new role," says Philipp Schaltenberg.
Dr. Johannes Jungwirth also emphasizes the continuity: "I would like to thank Philipp for his great commitment since the company was founded and am delighted that he will continue to support us as a shareholder and strategic advisor. Our team is in an excellent position to continue VK Energie's successful growth trajectory."
