New funding program: Innovation projects on cyber security wanted
The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi) is planning to promote application-oriented, technological innovations in the field of cyber security as part of an upcoming announcement. The aim is to promote practical research and development projects that contribute to the digital transformation in Bavaria and address current and future social challenges.
The subject of the funding is to be research and development expenditure within the framework of pre-competitive, industry-driven collaborative projects with clear innovation content in the field of cyber security.

Overview of funding requirements:
- Project consortia must consist of at least two partners, including at least one company
- Funding is aimed at companies from all sectors; small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in particular are encouraged to submit project outlines
- The participation of universities and non-university research institutions is possible
- The prerequisite is that the project work is carried out within Bavaria.
