Economics as the core of sustainability - what does that mean for manufacturing companies in the face of a shortage of skilled workers, volatile raw material prices, interrupted supply chains and rising energy costs?
One thing is certain: these challenges can only be met through intelligent and sustainable production. This is therefore the motto of this year's International Forum Mechatronics.
Date: Thursday, September 28 to Friday, September 29, 2023
Time: all day
Location: NOI Techpark Bruneck, Europastrasse, 18, 39031 Bruneck, Autonomous Province of Bolzano - South Tyrol, Italy
Mechatronics is the link between the physical and digital worlds and thus an enabler for intelligent technical innovations on the path to greater sustainability and climate neutrality. The International Forum Mechatronics (IFM) is the European marketplace for the technological presentation and discussion of research and development results from science and industry, for initiating new partnerships and for increasing innovation dynamics in the participating economic areas. Already since 2005, the leading mechatronics networks in the Alpine region have been cooperating and inviting their members to these international conferences every year. After 2018, it will take place again this year in South Tyrol, this time at the brand new NOI Techpark in Bruneck in the Puster Valley.
Further event details, for example, on the company tours at GKN Automotive & Intercable in Bruneck, GKN Hydrogen in Pfalzen, Durst in Brixen or Loaker in Heinfels, as well as information on possible accommodation, can be found here. To make networking perfect, there will be a B2B matchmaking event on the morning of the first day of the conference, for which those interested can also still register and choose interlocutors.
