FIBRE - Faserinstitut Bremen e.V.

As a scientific institution at the University of Bremen, the Faserinstitut Bremen e.V. performs research and development tasks in the field of testing, further development and processing of fibers, textile semi-finished products and fiber composites. The activities of the institute are focused on fiber testing, fiber measurement technology, near-natural materials/sustainability and structure and process development of fiber composites. Among other things, the Fiber Institute operates a modern testing center and can look back on decades of expertise in the international harmonization of tests.
