Stefan Bestelmeyer studied cultural geography in Erlangen for his Bachelor's and Master's degrees, which allowed him to deepen his strong interest in the promotion and development of rural areas in Germany.
At the State Office for Agriculture and Rural Areas in Meiningen (Thuringia), he worked on applications for economic strengthening and innovative projects as part of the EU funding program LEADER (Liaison Entre Actions de Développement de l'Économie Rurale). This activity led him to bayernkreativ, where he has been supporting the team since September 2021 as a project organizer, primarily in the scholarship program.
