The Chair of Waste Technology offers planning and contact mediation for the establishment of environmental management preferably in developing and newly industrializing countries. In the scientific field we work on the modeling of the physical-chemical equilibria as well as the mass transport processes in environmental apparatus. The aim of this work is to optimize the consumption of resources (operating costs) and the investment costs of such apparatus. Our activities serve to open up new markets for the export of German environmental technology to emerging countries (e.g. China).
