The POLYTEC AUTOMOTIVE COMPOSITES DIVISION, the largest supplier of molded composites parts in Europe, develops and manufactures exterior trim, functional and structural parts for the truck and passenger car sectors at 12 locations using a variety of technologies. In trucks and commercial vehicles, the core competence lies in the production of complex roof systems and other exterior cabin parts. In the engine compartment, the focus is primarily on valve covers and oil pans for large diesel engines. For passenger cars, underbody and noise protection parts are produced, as well as structural parts, trunk lids, spoilers, bumpers and hardtops. In both segments, the parts are produced in different quantities, largely painted and delivered directly to the assembly lines of the manufacturers.
