ISAT is an application-oriented research institute and a driving force for technological innovations. Together with industrial partners, we develop customized solutions for measurement and drive technology tasks and research the application of acoustic or optical phenomena in industrial practice. Our portfolio ranges from sensor research for industrial applications, sensor selection, sensor optimization and integration to the development of our own specific sensor solutions adapted to the respective industrial requirements. ISAT's research focuses on highly accurate non-invasive measurement methods in the field of ultrasound and optics as well as the development of microfluidic systems for on-site and laboratory diagnostics. In doing so, we cover the complete development process from simulation to prototyping to software and electronics development as well as intelligent measurement data evaluation using AI methods.
