Regions characterized by rural areas and tourism present special challenges, the research of which requires top performance at the highest level. In order to research the opportunities and perspectives of electromobile locomotion in these areas, Fraunhofer IAO established the field office in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2012. There, in close cooperation with local partners from business and science, we support the electromobility model community in evaluating and testing the opportunities of electromobility and tourism.
