AlterMobili is a smart mobility startup based in Munich. Our goal is to solve traffic and environmental problems with technology and the community of drivers. We know that sustainable mobility is only possible when all road users have the right data.

Our primary goal is to reduce search traffic for parking spaces and reduce car trips to areas with low probability parking. To help us achieve this, we are networking cars, regardless of age, into a Connected Cars Community. To do this, we use our small chip "ALMO", which is placed somewhere in the car and connects to our ALMO app via Bluetooth. Our solution even works without a chip in cars equipped with Bluetooth.

When a user of the app parks his car out, we detect this and share the free parking space with all other ALMO users. Our solution is so smart that it even displays vacant parking spaces 60 seconds in advance. This means that only our users know when other users are freeing up parking spaces. This enables us to generate targeted parking traffic and eliminate haphazard search traffic for parking spaces.
