As a neutral and personal point of contact on behalf of the Bavarian state government, our Transformation Pilot Automotive Bavaria is available specifically to companies in the automotive industry and accompanies them through all stages of their transformation process. With 208,000 direct employees, Bavaria's automotive, commercial vehicle and supplier industry forms the core structure of the Bavarian economy and has been writing a unique success story for many decades - yet it is facing a major transformation: The mobility of tomorrow is to be multimodal, environmentally and climate compatible, and highly digitalized. Does the combustion engine have a future? The EU Commission is also discussing this and is currently examining the date from which gasoline and diesel cars should no longer be placed on the market - a registration ban from 2035 is being considered.
