Wanted - Netherlands - degradable substitute for elastane

A Dutch brand of sustainable sportswear for men and women wants to develop a fully biodegradable alternative to elastane for use in sportswear such as leggings and sports tops.

Details: The young company's vision is to create a future where natural fabrics such as hemp and eucalyptus are the new standard in the (sports) fashion industry.  They want to achieve this goal by producing high-performance shirts made from sustainable materials. Thus, they are looking for an alternative for the elastane used in sportswear. This alternative is to be completely biodegradable. As far as the Dutch company knows, such a new material does not yet exist. The Dutch company has ideas to develop a fully biodegradable alternative to elastane that can be used in sportswear. To this end, they need partners who can contribute their technical expertise in high-tech textiles to improve and complement the Dutch company's sportswear product range.

Wanted partners The company is looking for a partner who brings experience in the field of sustainable and technical textiles and would like to jointly develop a more eco-friendly replacement product to elastane. Cooperation is sought under a technical cooperation agreement or under a commercial agreement with technical support. Further detail information on this can be found here.
