Solution sought for upgrading biogas to biomethane CH4 95% and carbon dioxide CO2

A French SME is specialized in microanaerobic digestion for farms and small agrofood plants. The company is urgently looking for a partner with a proven and reliable solution to separate bio-CH4 and CO2 during the production process of biogas in small plants with flow rates from 5 to 30 Nm3/h.

Details: The French innovative SME develops and distributes modular microanaerobic digestion systems for the treatment of wastewater from farms (breeding) and small agro-food plants such as dairies or breweries. To improve the service to its customers, the company is looking for a technical solution to treat the biogas produced, mainly into biomethane and carbon dioxide. The bio-CH4 is to be purified to about 95%, as it is not to be fed back into the grid, and the CO2 is to be recycled. Specifically, a solution is sought that is calibrated for biogas flow rates between 5 and 30 Nm3 / h and has the following composition: - CH4: between 55 and 75 - CO2: between 25 and 45% - Small amounts of H2S, O2 and H2O Finally, the CH4 should be purified to approx. 95% to be purified, as it should not be fed back into the grid.

Sought partners/ references: A private company or academic partner is sought,  who can provide the said technical solution. In case of technology already on the market, a commercial agreement with technical support is sought. The partner will provide support to the French SME in the implementation of the solution and on-site training.
In the case of technology available for demonstration, a technical collaboration agreement with technology providers will be sought. The French SME is open to launch joint R&D activities with the partner to adapt the solution to its specific needs.
