Funding conditions

Funding is provided for the technical infrastructure of the filling station.
In particular:

• Costs for relevant technical equipment and the associated installation costs
• Connections for water and electricity

What is not funded?

• Construction measures
• Adaptation of land or roads
• Obtaining relevant permits
• Acquisition of land

Legal entities and natural persons who are economically active are eligible to apply.

Funding is provided as a grant

• Public filling stations: up to 80% of eligible expenditure;
  for SMEs, an increase of 10% is possible
• In-house service stations: up to 40% of eligible expenditure;
  for SMEs, an increase of 10% or 20% is possible
• Restrictions:
  • Grant amount for a single project should not exceed EUR 2 million
  • Grants for the same recipient per funding call: max. 20% of the total funding

• Location of the facility in Bavaria
• Operating time of the filling station at least 6 years
• Supply of the filling station with renewable hydrogen (100 %)
• Non-discriminatory access (e.g. payment system, technology, access)
• Public filling stations: Dispensing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• In-house filling stations: there must be no accessibility for the public
• The project (commissioning) must not have been started yet
