The guideline expired on 31.12.2024. No further calls for funding are planned.

According to Article 2 No. 102c of the GBER, renewable hydrogen is hydrogen that is produced by electrolysis of water (in an electrolyzer powered by renewable electricity) in compliance with the sustainability requirements. Until 31.12.2035, hydrogen produced by reforming biogas or by biochemical conversion of biomass.

Yes, the 700 bar technology is eligible, provided there is a need to refuel commercial vehicles at this level.

A total of 30 hydrogen filling stations are currently being planned, under construction or have already been opened.

The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is providing over € 54 million.
