A Korean institute is looking for an innovative nonwoven fabric manufacturing technology and a machine that can produce finished products from the new material. Ideally, a biodegradable nonwoven with high production efficiency is sought.
Details:
A Korean textile F&E institute is seeking a project idea for a machine to produce nonwoven as the government has allocated an F&E budget of about 4 million euros to develop a machine to produce nonwoven. In Korea, a biodegradable film made of corn starch is used to wrap products and make face masks. However, this material is expensive and has low production efficiency. In addition, the adhesive strength might be weak when applied to hygiene products or the printing might not be done well.
Sought partners/ references:
The type of cooperation sought is either a licensing agreement and (or) a technology cooperation agreement. What is being sought is a nonwoven biodegradable manufacturing machine that can complement this vulnerability and/or an automated manufacturing technology for the finished nonwoven product, which is disposable nonwoven anticontamination garments.
