Digitalization, innovative building materials, sustainability and shortage of skilled workers - these are just some of the issues that companies and associations in the construction industry will have to deal with more in the future. After all, even an industry that is one of the most important in the Bavarian economy, with annual sales of around 24 billion euros, 147,000 employees and just under 13,000 companies, must actively plan for the future in order to remain competitive.

Future-proof construction and planning

Initiated in 2017 by Bavarian construction associations, leading companies and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, the "Innovative Solid Construction Network Bavaria" aims to meet the challenges in solid construction through networking, cooperation and joint strategic positioning. The network addresses current issues, strengthens the performance and competitiveness of the Bavarian construction industry and focuses specifically on innovation, sustainability and efficiency in construction. The target group includes all players involved in construction - from architects to building contractors. The NiM Bayern network is coordinated by Bayern Innovativ GmbH. The Bavarian Chamber of Architects and the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers are involved as partners.

Focus of "NiM":

  • Bringing together all players from planning to execution
  • Bundling and making visible Bavarian competencies
