Free initial consultation for inventors by patent attorneys

The first consultation for inventors is a service of the Patent Center Bavaria in cooperation with the regional patent attorneys. As part of a free initial consultation for inventors, a member of the patent attorney's office answers basic legal questions about industrial property rights. This concerns patents, utility models, trademarks and designs (registered designs).

Detailed processing of specific legal matters or applications cannot be expected within this framework.

Since we do not offer legal advice, the inventor initial consultation is a supplement to the consulting services offered by the Patent Center Bavaria. It is aimed primarily at small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. 

The consultation is confidential and takes place exclusively between you and the patent attorney. It is usually conducted by telephone or online.
